Step-by-step preparation:
Preparing strawberries: Wash fresh strawberries thoroughly, remove stems. If using frozen ones, there is no need to defrost them beforehand - they will add the necessary coldness to the drink.
Whipping: Place strawberries in a blender bowl, pour in chilled cream and milk. Add sugar, vanilla (if using) and ice cubes.
To homogeneity: Beat all ingredients at high speed until completely homogeneous, fluffy and airy without lumps. This will take about 1-2 minutes.
Taste correction: Taste the smoothie. If desired, add more sugar or a few drops of lemon juice to brighten the taste.
Serving: Pour the finished smoothie into tall glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberries and mint leaves. Serve immediately!
